Edelman: Maintenance Technician (Level 2)

Edelman is looking for an independent and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.   • Competitive Pay: This is an hourly, full-time position with a pay range of $16-$19 per hour.

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you are the on-site expert. You will work independently to provide maintenance on residential HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. A typical day will involve:

  • Performing Quality Maintenance: Arriving at scheduled appointments to perform comprehensive system checks and filter changes, ensuring every job meets our high standards.
  • Customer Education: Communicating with customers to inform them about their system's health, our planned maintenance agreements, and opportunities for additional products or services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Reporting your progress to dispatch, completing all service-related forms accurately, and working toward the skills and certifications required to advance to the next level.
  • Safe and Professional Operations: Maintaining a professional appearance, operating a company vehicle safely, and ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: You have a minimum of 6 months of HVAC service experience and are comfortable working on maintenance calls independently.
  • Qualifications: You must be able to pass drug and background screens, have a valid driver’s license, and obtain or currently hold an EPA Certification. An HVAC training program is a plus.
  • Growth Mindset: You are eager to learn, committed to continuing education (20 hours per year), and driven to meet the performance goals required for advancement.
  • A Professional Attitude: You possess strong communication skills and are committed to safety, quality, and a customer-focused approach.
