About the Role

Innoviz Technologies is shaping the future of autonomous driving with our cutting-edge LiDAR systems – among the most advanced sensors in the automotive industry. Our technology brings together expertise in hardware and software to deliver breakthrough solutions for safety and reliability.

 We’re looking for a Cyber Security Architect to drive the security architecture of our products, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. In this role, you’ll define requirements, guide design decisions, and lead validation efforts that protect our systems against evolving cyber threats.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze OEM cybersecurity requirements and develop Innoviz’s technical response.
  • Translate OEM requirements into clear software and hardware specifications for development teams.
  • Serve as the focal point for cybersecurity expertise – standards, techniques, best practices, and validation concepts.
  • Support MCU selection and ASIC definition processes with a focus on security needs.
  • Define and oversee secure key usage, secure boot, device flashing, and in-vehicle communication (Ethernet and CAN-FD).
  • Lead risk assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
  • Define and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate penetration testing efforts with external vendors to meet OEM requirements.
  • Contribute to the overall system and software architecture, embedding security into every stage of product definition.



Requirements

  • Education: BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a leading university (MSc is an advantage).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity management, with proven hands-on and architecture expertise.
  • Automotive Expertise: Solid background in Classic AUTOSAR protocol stack.
  • Communication Protocols: Strong knowledge and practical experience with Ethernet, IP/UDP/TCP, SOME/IP, Do-IP, UDS, and CAN-FD BUS.
  • Cybersecurity Standards: Knowledge of the most modern security standards and certifications (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UNR155/156).
  • Hardware Security: Knowledge of using HSM for deployment of cybersecurity features.
  • Risk & Vulnerability Management: Experience performing vulnerability assessments and applying mitigation strategies.
  • Process & Quality: Experience with the ASPICE process model.
  • Languages: Excellent command of English – written and spoken.
