About the Role

qSpark is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Operations to lead the company’s international Operations team, which is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our high-frequency, mission-critical trading system.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-pressure, high-stakes environments and knows how to build operational excellence into every layer of the tech stack and team culture.

  • 3+ years of proven experience in operations leadership within high-availability, mission-critical environments (finance, trading, telecom, etc.)
  • Hands-on expertise troubleshooting and operating Linux-based production environments.
  • Track record of creating and enforcing operational best practices across engineering teams (e.g. runbooks, SLAs, escalation protocols, alerting standards).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident response, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery in environments where uptime is directly tied to financial outcomes.
  • High sense of ownership and urgency; able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where downtime is not an option.



Requirements
