About the Role
 

 

Location: Lasalle, Montreal
Status: Permanent, full time (occasional on-call or after-hours work on weekends for emergencies)


Are you interested in working and learning with skilled arborists? Strathmore is NOW looking for Driver/Ground Worker for its Arboriculture division. 

Position Overview:


This role involves performing a variety of arboriculture work in residential, commercial and municipal settings. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Site clean up, branch chipping, grapple trailer operation, stump grinding
  • Safely drive our bucket truck (class 3 required)
  • Operate a variety of arboriculture machinery
  • Working in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • Work in a team of 2-3 and follow your crew leader's instructions

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least one year of experience in a related field
  • Good physical condition to work outdoors
  • Class 5 driver's license (or out-of-province equivalent) with a compliant driving history
  • ISA or DEP certification in arboriculture (is an asset) 
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
