Heavy equipment mechanic

Can you repair and service a variety of small gasoline and diesel-powered engines and equipment? 

Are you organized and reliable?

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and machines, including tractors, loaders, tree grinders, boom trucks  

• Diagnose and repair small engine machines such as chainsaw, lawn mowers, blowers and other power tools

• Conduct regular maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment

• Maintain inventory of company tools, equipment and vehicles

• Complete work orders

• Plan, prepare and execute in-house repairs

• Responds to calls for repairs as needed

For a perfect match
 

• DEP in mechanics and CPA, or relevant experience and education

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a related shop environment. Small engine experience is an asset

• Valid Quebec driver’s license with a clean driving record
