About the Role

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive Cardiac and Vascular care for our patients with a personal touch.   To accomplish our goals, we are looking to hire a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or NP with Electrophysiology experience to join our team and assist our supervising physicians as EP Cardiology Extenders.     


Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or be a licensed Nurse Practitioner is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment. 
  • Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is permitted to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice. 
  • Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. 
  • Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either the Health and Human Services/Office of Inspectors General (HHS/OIG) or the General Services Administration's (GSA) List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs. 
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges. 
  • Prescriptive authority as appropriate, pthe er medical staff service privileging process. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies 
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State 
  • Acute Care Certification 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field
  • EP Experience preferred 

 

Work Environment

This position is a clinical outpatient position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 PM. 

 

Physical Requirements

This position requires a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
