About the Role

About Macmahon Maintenance Masters
Macmahon Maintenance Masters is Macmahon’s internal field service division, providing support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day


Macmahon Maintenance Masters is looking for an experienced Underground Mechanic to join the team! If you enjoy flexibility in site/equipment worked on; then this is the role for you!


About the role
• 8:6, 7:7, 2:1 or 2:2 roster – you choose I Opportunities across 6 Underground mines
• Highly competitive rates I Paid flights from capital cities 


About you
• Proven experience on underground equipment - predominately Sandvik
• Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drivers and minor components such as pumps and cylinders
• Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting skills• Exception diagnostic & troubleshooting skills
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Current Drivers Licence
