- Support classroom teachers in providing a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
- Follow lesson plans and routines established by the lead teacher to ensure continuity of care and learning.
- Engage with children in meaningful play, learning activities, and group interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom while following all health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively and positively with children, staff, and families.
- Adapt to different age groups and classrooms as needed throughout the day.
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient demeanor.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexible schedule – work based on your availability and our center’s needs.
