About the Role

Description

At Yukon Kids Dental, we specialize in pediatric dentistry, offering a range of services designed to ensure your child's dental health and comfort. Our team is dedicated to creating a positive and welcoming environment for both our patients and staff. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing practice.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist the pediatric dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Prepare patients for dental work, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate patient records
  • Make temporary crowns, night guards, and bleaching trays
  • Provide coronal polishing and take impressions
  • Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
  • X-ray certification required
  • Must be bilingual
  • Strong knowledge of medical records management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
