About the Role

When acting as a supervisor, responsible for compliance with approved procedures, as well as, training, supervising and monitoring the performance of dealers to ensure smooth and efficient gaming during shift.

When acting as a dealer, responsible for dealing a game in a proficient manner while maintaining a courteous and friendly manner.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHEN ACTING AS A SUPERVISOR:

  • Specifically supervise the operation of an assigned number of tables.
  • Ensure fills/credits are handled according to policy.
  • Promote positive guest relations.
  • Assist in answering questions or resolving disputes.
  • Exhibit knowledge of all appropriate state and company controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote the following within the department and among all associates:
  • Create an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
  • Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all associates by setting a positive example at all times.
  • Instill an atmosphere that encourages associates to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve disputes.
  • Retain associates through personal involvement in associate training and development.

WHEN ACTING AS A DEALER:

  • Protect and control the game.
  • Conduct the game according to company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations, handling guest transactions and notifying Supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
  • Promote outstanding guest relations.
  • Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises an assigned number of dealers when acting as a Supervisor.

2 YEARS DEALING EXPERIENCE
