About the Role

Description

Starting at $24.00/hour and Benefits eligibility for Full time workers.  Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Ed Tech III to work alongside Special Education Teachers, clinicians, and BCBAs in providing essential support to help students learn. Our classrooms offer a small, private learning opportunity for students Kindergarten-4th Grade in our Special Purpose Private School. What You'll Do

As an SPPS BHP Ed Tech III, you’ll:

• Support children in achieving behavioral and educational goals

• Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

• Teach communication, social, and safety skills

• Follow each child’s individualized treatment and education plans

• Maintain clear, accurate daily documentation

• Collaborate with a skilled and supportive team

Requirements

  • 90 college credit hours minimum/Ed Tech III.
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire (provided).
  • Must obtain Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire (provided).
  • Must obtain BHP certification within 12 months of hire (provided).
  • Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
