Substitute Teacher

Description

The Substitute Teachers perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Their duties include taking attendance, explaining homework, and maintaining classroom cleanliness. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Substitute teachers must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Diocese of Orlando fingerprinting process. 
• Teaching experience preferred.  
• Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings. 
• Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. 
• Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
