About the Role

Description

  

Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers / Resident Aides to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This part-time morning role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meaningful work and want a consistent early-day schedule.

  

Schedule:

Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Monday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals)
  • Support individuals in following their active treatment plans
  • Encourage positive engagement and independence during morning routines
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with team members during shift transitions
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment




Requirements

  

  • Provide direct care and supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals)
  • Support individuals in following their active treatment plans
  • Encourage positive engagement and independence during morning routines
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with team members during shift transitions
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and approved behavioral intervention certifications (training provided)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

  • Must successfully pass a Level II background check
