Facilities Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance across the facility. This includes work in carpentry, electrical, mechanical systems, painting, plumbing (boilers, compactors, air handling units, etc.), and light construction. The technician will partner with multiple departments to troubleshoot issues, complete emergency repairs, and support the overall functionality and safety of the facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Perform facility repairs and installations as assigned, or as identified through routine inspections.
· Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, including doors, loading docks, boilers, compactors, and air handling units.
· Diagnose operational issues, identify potential problems or inefficiencies, and recommend effective solutions.
· Coordinate with various departments to resolve maintenance concerns in a timely and professional manner.
· Respond to and complete emergency repairs as needed.
· Support the development and execution of maintenance strategies and departmental goals.
· Perform additional related duties as assigned.

· Ability to provide after-hours or weekend support for emergency maintenance situations.
Required Qualifications Education & Experience:
High school Diploma required.
Proficient in English.
Up to 3 years of related work experience.

Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10–50 lbs., frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance.

Work Environment
Subject to environmental conditions with protection from weather, but not necessarily from temperature changes
Activities occur both indoors and outdoors.
Work Classification
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently.
