Software Engineer II

Work with stakeholders to understand the product landscape and requirements of features. Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure services optimized for Kubernetes at the edge. Write code that is well structured, extensible, and maintainable. You will implement test automation to ensure robustness of the product. Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed, and consider diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability when reviewing code, and understand when code is ready to be shared or delivered. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 2+ years of software development, preferably developing and running distributed system These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience. Experience in shipping high quality microservices based products Familiarity with distributed systems and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Rust programming language. Familiarity with IoT messaging protocols like MQTT. Experience with customer support and on-call rotations.
