Senior Cyber Security Administrator (SIEM)

<p>Join a leading non profit health organisation and be a critical part by protecting our client's vital systems and sensitive health data.</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced <b>Senior Cyber Security Administrator</b> with a strong focus on <b>Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)</b> to join our dynamic Digital &amp; Technology team. This is a permanent, full time position located in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane (Hybrid working arrangements 3 days in office), with a commitment to an on site presence.</p> The Role <p>You will play a critical part in enhancing our cyber resilience through the operational support, monitoring, and administration of key security technologies.</p> Key Responsibilities <ul> <li><b>SIEM Expertise:</b> Managing, supporting, and continuously improving our SIEM platform, including configuration, monitoring, triage, and remediation of security events.</li> <li><b>Security Operations:</b> Monitoring and managing a suite of security tools, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Endpoint Security, and Vulnerability Management.</li> <li><b>Incident Response:</b> Assisting in managing security alerts, conducting first level analysis of events, and participating in incident response activities.</li> <li><b>Vulnerability Management:</b> Tracking and reporting on vulnerabilities, risks, and active threats, and assisting with remediation efforts.</li> <li><b>Stakeholder Engagement:</b> Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure security requirements are met and new technologies are implemented securely.</li> <li><b>On-Call:</b> Participating in a rotating D&amp;T on call roster outside of standard business hours, including weekends and public holidays.</li> </ul> About You <p>We are looking for a dedicated professional who embodies our clients values and has the below experience:</p> Essential Experience &amp; Skills <ul> <li><b>5+ years' experience</b> in a cyber security or information security related role.</li> <li><b>Expert knowledge and hands on experience with SIEM platforms</b>, including deployment, configuration, and continuous improvement in on premise and cloud environments.</li> <li><b>Proven experience in alert triage, monitoring, and investigation of security events</b> across diverse environments.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of <b>identity and access management</b> concepts and technologies.</li> <li>Experience in or alongside a managed <b>Security Operations Centre (SOC)</b>.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to <b>communicate complex technical information</b> to non technical stakeholders, including senior management.</li> <li>Familiarity with key security frameworks such as <b>NIST CSF, Essential Eight, SOCI, or the Information Security Manual (ISM)</b>.</li> </ul> Why Join Us? <p>You'll be part of an organisation renowned for industry leading research, education, and the provision of exceptional and compassionate care.
