The role:
 

As the Leading Hand in our Silverdale operation, you will provide leadership and support to your small team of heavy diesel technicians working in the field.  You will be responsible for ensuring work efficiency, productivity and quality, safety, coaching and mentoring, warranty claims and associated administrative work. You will also undertake your own on tools work and complete jobs alongside your leadership responsibilities.  

The Silverdale operation covers the North Shore to Warkworth, and reports to our Whangarei Service Manager.  Equipment from the construction industry makes up most of the work, but there is plenty of variety working in other industries as well.

We are seeking:

• A qualified and experienced heavy diesel technician

• 5+ years’ experience in our industry

• An understanding of operational processes and systems

• Experience leading, mentoring and coaching a team Is preferred but not essential.
   

This role requires you to work closely with other Terra staff to ensure our customers have a great experience every time, so top-notch communication and organisational skills are essential.
