We are on the hunt for all trade qualified fitters, light and heavy diesel mechanics, mobile plant or mechanical fitters to join our award-winning team in our Townsville Business Centre. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.

As a Fitter, you will:

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment
• Equipment Assembly of Caterpillar equipment
• Maintain and complete all paperwork associated with job completion
• Use Caterpillar Diagnostic Systems (ET Vims, SIMSi and SIS)
• Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives

About You
A successful teammate will have the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualification (Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters, Fitter & Turners, Diesel Fitters)
• Demonstrated 5 years post trade mechanical fitting experience
• Disassembly & Assembly experience
• Computer literate, along with experience in SIS
• Strong commitment to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety
• The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Be available for day & afternoon rotating weekly work shifts
