OVERVIEW:
The company is seeking an experienced Interior Designer who brings strong creative sensibility, sharp technical skill, and an exceptional eye for joinery and detail.
This is a role with a technical and intimate understanding of detailed joinery and high quality interior documentation. Includes but not limited to residential, multi-residential, commercial and hospitality projects. You'll need an advanced level of expertise in Revit software and have a mature knowledge of the construction and design world, particularly considering Australian standards and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and coordinate complete interior design documentation packages using Revit and relevant software, ensuring a high level of accuracy, detail, and design intent.
- Independently manage project tasks across all phases—from 3D concept design through to documentation and delivery—while maintaining design consistency and quality.
- Review, refine, and quality-check documentation, including custom joinery and standard interior details, to ensure alignment with design vision, compliance, and constructability.
- Maintain design integrity throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all documentation complies with relevant building codes, regulatory standards, and internal quality assurance (QA) procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Advanced Revit skills – a must for delivering coordinated, detail-rich interior documentation
- A strong design sensibility – with a natural flair for composition, materiality, and spatial thinking
- Demonstrated extensive experience producing detailed joinery documentation and interior standard details
- Solid understanding of residential design in the Australian context – ideally 5+ years’ experience
- A strong grasp of Photoshop and InDesign for high-quality presentations
- Lumion experience for conceptual rendering is highly regarded or more advanced software 3D max etc is welcomed
- Excellent organization and task management – able to juggle multiple priorities with confidence
- Strong communication skills – across verbal, visual, and written formats
- A collaborative, grounded attitude – you’re a team player
- Confidence liaising with consultants, suppliers, and clients when required
- Formal qualifications in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
