About the Role

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and scale our cloud infrastructure. You'll work on the systems that power our cybersecurity platform, with a focus on reliability, automation, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure for production and development environments
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
  • Manage workflow orchestration systems (Temporal, Airflow, or similar) for distributed workflows
  • Implement observability and monitoring using Datadog, Prometheus, or similar tools
  • Partner with backend and security engineers on scalability, performance, and compliance
  • Build infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)
  • Optimize cloud costs across compute, data streaming, and storage
  • Automate operational processes and implement security best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer on high-scale distributed systems in a Linux environment
  • Proven hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes - a must
  • Strong experience with AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora)
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Scripting/programming skills with Python, Bash, or Go
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of observability and monitoring stacks
  • The mindset and approach for automating away from manual efforts
  • Experience optimizing infrastructure costs
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar)
  • Background in security tooling or compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
  • Experience managing stateful distributed systems at scale
  • Database management and optimization experience (PostgreSQL, Aurora)
