About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: Building, managing and innovating in the space of database migration solutions and helping grow the PostgreSQL business at Azure. Provide mentorship and coaching to engineers and peers. Own and deliver complete features across the development lifecycle, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, debugging, shipping, and servicing. Be passionate about making customers successful. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, advancements in service health, and identify opportunities for innovation within the field. ​ ​ ​​​​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline. 8+ years of software development experience using C, C++, Rust, .net or C# or an equivalent programming language. Strong technical prowess, including understanding of algorithms, systems architecture, and end-user experience. Experience building cloud Services on any of the Major Clouds.​
