About the Role
Assist paint line performance by performing duties including hanging/removing parts and material from load bar, recording of pieces, hours and load bar information on computer. Performs the carrying and lifting of parts to hang or unhang off the painting production line. Performs visual inspections of material prior to and after painting. Performs miscellaneous related assignments, such as masking, wrapping, touch-up painting, etc. Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently. Perform 5S & continuous improvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered Experience with powder painting Experience in a production environment Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail Ability to reach, grasp, bend and manipulate¬ Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
