Overview of Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize modular data center systems, including steel structures, air ducts, and panels.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (UL, FDA) and ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Collaborate with factory teams to improve automation processes such as welding, painting, and assembly.
- Manage technical documentation and support production with troubleshooting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Assist with UL certification testing, sample preparation, and startup tasks such as technical purchasing and production readiness.

Responsibilities and Work Assignments:

1. Mechanical Design and Development
- Participate in the design, development, and continuous improvement of modular data center systems, including steel structures, frames, air ducting, panels, and enclosures.
- 参与数据中心模块化产品的结构设计与优化工作，如钢结构、风道、机架与外壳等部件。

2. Standards Compliance and Certification
- Ensure designs meet applicable standards (e.g., UL, FDA) and quality systems (ISO 9001).
- Assist in product compliance, testing, and certification documentation.
- 遵循UL、FDA等国际标准及ISO质量体系要求进行设计，协助产品认证流程和相关文档准备。

3. Automation Process Optimization
- Work with factory teams to set up and optimize automation equipment and processes, including welding, painting, and sheet metal assembly, to improve consistency and throughput.
- 配合工厂完成喷涂、焊接、钣金装配等自动化工序的调试与流程优化，提升效率与质量一致性。

4. Technical Documentation
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, assembly work instructions, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure version control and compliance with change management processes.
- 负责编制与维护机械图纸、物料清单及装配指导书，确保符合工程变更流程。

5. Production Support
- Provide on-site technical support during production or assembly.
- Respond to issues promptly, including flexible working hours or multitasking when needed.
- 现场支持生产与装配环节，快速处理技术问题，必要时可加班或同时处理多项任务。

6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with electrical, project, QA, and compliance teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- 与电气、项目、质量和认证等跨部门团队紧密协作，推动项目顺利进行。

7. Certification Testing Support
- Assist with sample preparation, test setup, data collection, and coordination for UL and regulatory testing.
- Follow up on non-conformities and reports.
- 协助UL认证测试样品准备、测试安排与资料整理，跟进整改和测试报告分析。

8. Startup and General Support
- Support general startup tasks, such as technical purchasing input, equipment translation, and production readiness.
- 协助初创期临时性事务，如技术采购协助、设备资料翻译与产线导入支持。

Appointment Qualifications:

- Educational Level:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 机械工程或相关专业本科以上学历。

- Profession:
- Mechanical Engineering / 机械工程

- Work Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in mechanical design or manufacturing.
- Experience in modular products or sheet metal design is an added advantage.
- 至少3年机械结构设计或制造经验，有钣金或模块化产品经验者优先。

- Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D/2D CAD software.
- 熟练掌握SolidWorks或AutoCAD等工程设计软件。
- Familiarity with UL standards (e.g., UL 2200, UL 2755), FDA, and understanding of data center mechanical requirements is preferred.
- 熟悉UL 2200、UL 2755、FDA或数据中心相关标准者优先考虑。
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin; working knowledge of Mandarin and Malay is preferred for communication with multilingual teams and vendors.
- 良好的英语和中文沟通能力，懂中文和马来语技术相关更佳，以便与多语言团队或供应商交流。
- Self-motivated, responsible, and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment.
