Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We’re looking for an Intermediate Fire Engineer to join our Tauranga office. You’ll contribute to:

• Developing fire safety designs for consent using performance based design.

• Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction activities.

• Communicating effectively with clients and project teams.

• Growing your project and client management skills to become a trusted consultant.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$85,000 – $128,000, depending on skills and experience. The role is full-time and permanent, with a minimum of 40 hours a week.

Ko wai koe | About you

You are a qualified Fire Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent) and bring a minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience, ideally within a consultancy environment. You’re a curious and collaborative professional with a passion for design and problem-solving. You thrive in project teams and bring a proactive, positive attitude. You’re motivated by making a meaningful difference in the built environment and are keen to continue learning and growing.
