1 Tom Plumber Austin is expanding our 24/7 coverage. We’re looking for a licensed, experienced plumber to own the weekend and night emergency calls. This is ideal for someone who wants steady extra income without a Monday–Friday day shift.
Weekend & After-Hours Specialist
Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: $38–$48/hour + after-hours bonuses
Schedule: Friday 3:00 PM – Monday 6:00 AM (on-call with downtime between calls) + optional 1–2 weekday evening shifts
Training Pay: $1,000 flat for initial paid training (approx. 1 week)

What You’ll Do
Handle emergency residential & commercial plumbing calls during scheduled nights/weekends
- Diagnose and resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Keep your service vehicle stocked, clean, and ready for the next call
- Be a calm, confident face for customers during their plumbing emergencies
- Effectively present and explain plumbing repair work and pricing using ServiceTitan
What You Bring
- Texas Journeyman License
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a level head under pressure
- Reliable mindset ready to respond from home during on-call hours
- Previous experience performing a wide-scope of plumbing work and preparing estimates for approval
