Job Summary:

As a Restaurant Host at Napa on Providence, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your warm and welcoming demeanor and gracious hospitality will set the tone for their visit, and your exceptional customer service skills will make them feel like valued guests in our home. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests with a smile, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
• Manage reservations, both over the phone and in person, and assist with waitlist coordination.
• Provide accurate wait times and escort guests to their tables while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate with the restaurant team to manage table turnover and customer flow.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a tidy and organized host stand, lobby, and waiting areas.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Host or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, friendly, and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of reservation management systems (e.g., OpenTable) is a plus.
