As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll assist lead electricians in completing jobs while gaining the knowledge and hands-on experience needed for a successful career. Through our Apprenticeship Program, you will work toward earning your Journeyman’s License while contributing to high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and systems.
- Assess the condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine necessary repairs.
- Work with and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications.
- Identify and prepare appropriate materials and quantities for repair or installation projects.
- Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options to customers and perform safety inspections.
- Relevant experience is a plus but may vary by location.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain issues and recommend solutions to customers.
