About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead / Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on 9-12 years of experience in GIS technologies, especially ArcGIS and VertiGIS Studio Web, coupled with hands-on Full stack expertise in React-based Frontend and .NET / C# based backend Development.

The candidate should also have good experience in Geo-Spatial data, .Net, TypeScript, SQL database and Design Patterns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Utility Networks, a strong sense of software architecture best practices, and excellent communication skills to engage with client stakeholders effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that meet client’s requirement.

Essential Skills

Must Have Skills:

 

·        9–12 years of progressive experience in software development and architecture, with at least 4+ years in GIS-focused roles.

·        Hands-on experience with React.js, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks along with backend technologies - .Net / C#, Microservices and REST.

·        Expertise in Esri ArcGIS Platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server).

·        Good to have knowledge and experience in VertiGIS Studio (Web, Workflow, Reporting, Printing).

·        Solid understanding of Esri Utility Network and related data models, configuration, and deployment.

·        Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, and data interchange formats like GeoJSON, GML, XML, JSON.

·        Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, microservices, and system design.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.

·        Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing geographically distributed teams.

·        Strong knowledge of SQL and geo-spatial data management and performance optimization.

 

Educational Qualification Skillset:

 

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Geomatics, or a related field.

·        Experience with VertiGIS Studio Web and Utility Network for managing utilities infrastructure.

·        Extensive experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, and Feature Services.

·        Proficiency in .NET and TypeScript for solution development.

·        Experience with hosting and deploying solutions on ArcGIS platforms.

·        Hands-on experience with ArcGIS layers, design patterns, and performance optimization.

·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

·        Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·        Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

·        Knowledge of NoSQL databases for scalable data storage solutions.

·        Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.

·        Good hands-on experience on AWS or Azure cloud services

·        Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for GIS application delivery.
