About the Role

Job Title: Cath Lab In-Service Specialist
Location: Houston, TX | Sugar Land, TX | Katy, TX | The Woodlands, TX | Pasadena, TX
Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Part-Time | PRN | Flexible (self-managed schedule)
Pay: $50–$75/hour + mileage reimbursement or daily stipend

Overview

A national medical device company is seeking experienced Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology professionals to provide in-servicing, clinical education, and integration support for vascular access devices across leading hospitals in the Greater Houston area.

This field-based, part-time 1099 role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy, interacting with procedural teams, and educating on cutting-edge vascular technologies. You will manage your own schedule and support clinical teams based on procedural demand and in-service requests.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site education and in-servicing for catheter-based vascular access devices

  • Provide product demonstrations and procedural support

  • Assist with onboarding and training at new accounts

  • Act as a clinical liaison for hospitals in your assigned territory

  • Document activity and provide clinical insights as needed

Requirements

Required:

  • Experience in a Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or vascular access setting

  • Active clinical licensure/certification (e.g., RN, RCIS, RT(R), CVT)

  • Strong interpersonal and clinical education skills

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Houston area

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Preferred:

  • Experience in device in-servicing or case support

  • Familiarity with DVT, PE, or catheter-directed thrombolysis procedures
