Closing Deli Associate

Join the Save More Marketplace team as a Closing Deli Associate and be part of our legacy of serving fresh and quality delicatessen products since 1959! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and serving a variety of deli meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat items to our customers. You'll ensure that our deli section is well-stocked and presented attractively, all while providing excellent customer service. If you have a passion for food and enjoy engaging with customers, we invite you to bring your skills to our team! Hours will be from 2 or 3 pm until 9pm.

• Prepare and serve deli products to customers, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and back area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Restock and display products attractively, ensuring accurate pricing and labeling.
• Handle special orders and assist in customizing meat and cheese trays for customers' events.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during high-volume periods.
• Follow all food safety protocols while handling and preparing food items.

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Good communication skills to engage with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
