Senior Software Project Manager - Egypt

Position Overview:

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Project Manager to lead and manage complex software development projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle from initiation through delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the quality expectations of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to align with project objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams, managing communication and workflow to ensure effective project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to other project managers and team members.
• Implement best practices and methodologies in project management to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, methodologies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software project management, with a strong background in software development.
• Proven experience managing large-scale software projects through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive teams towards project goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is preferred.
