We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer - Architect to a supervision project. In this role, you will oversee and manage Architectural engineering aspects.

 

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate Architectural engineering activities on construction sites

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standards

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues

  • Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector’s performance on a regular basis.

  • Update progress for all assigned works to the project manager to include in his reports

  • Review updated records that would form as built records

  • Check and coordinate for all assigned services

  • Coordinate with Architect manager for all material reviews and design queries

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures for finishing elements

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, inspectors and team members

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and address concerns

  • Under general supervision, performs routine duties.

  • Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.

  • Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.

  • Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

  • Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.

  • May provide technical direction to inspectors, technicians, and surveyors.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 10+ years of professional experience in architectural design and construction supervision
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
