About the Role
Paraprofessional Openings – Elementary Level (PreK–5) | Illinois

Looking to begin a fulfilling new chapter in your career? We’re hiring a motivated Paraprofessional for the current school year.

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is collaborating with an Illinois school district to fill multiple Paraprofessional roles within elementary school buildings serving students in PreK through 5th grade. These positions offer a meaningful opportunity to support young learners with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs while working as part of a collaborative school team.

Position Overview
  • Assist nonverbal students with daily living skills and functional routines as needed.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance under the direction of certified teachers.
  • Reinforce academic instruction, classroom engagement, and positive behavior strategies.
  • Support students throughout the school day in general education and special education classrooms.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student independence.

Requirements

  • An active Illinois Paraprofessional Certification is required.
  • High school diploma required; college coursework is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience with children or in an educational setting is helpful but not required.
