Software Engineer

• Provide software technical expert consultancy to the Factory Integration (FI) team.
• Actively participate in the DevOps & Agile process for the MHA solutions.
• Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.
• Represent the local site as a software technical advisor on MHA topics, collaborating closely with the global team in Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.
• Lead and guide smaller project teams to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
• Translate user requirements into tailored MHA software solutions.
• Gather User Requirements for new user request/enhancement of MHA solutions, drive the implementation, testing, and rollout to production.
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing across both local and global teams, fostering continuous improvement.
• Implement new features into existing applications and develop innovative automation software solutions, adhering to approved technologies and Infineon’s FI architectural guidelines.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related Engineering field (such as Electrical, Electronic, Microelectronics, or Semiconductor Technology).
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience can be considered.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management background with expertise in application development within Manufacturing IT systems.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor automation, including material handling, Material Control Systems (MCS), material identification, and storage systems, is an added advantage.
• Experience in factory automation solution design, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and systems is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of semiconductor equipment integration, with familiarity with SEMI Standards, is an added advantage.
• A proactive mindset for supporting production environments, with a commitment to a zero-defect approach.
• Solid understanding of existing automation solutions and their applications.
