About the Role

Description

The Customer Portal Product Manager is responsible for owning, developing, and enhancing Unilode’s Customer Portal. This role ensures the portal delivers real customer value, aligns with commercial and operational goals, and offers intuitive, high-quality user experiences. Working in close partnership with engineering, data, customer success, UX, and commercial stakeholders, the Product Manager drives clarity, prioritisation, and execution to deliver impactful product outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Ownership

  • Define, maintain, and communicate the Customer Portal roadmap in alignment with business strategy.
  • Ensure product direction is guided by customer feedback, operational priorities, and commercial insights.
  • Establish and track success metrics and product KPIs to measure product adoption and value.

Feature Planning and Execution

Collaborate, Drive Results, Customer Focus, Ensure Accountability

  • Translate user and business needs into product requirements, workflows, and prioritised user stories.
  •  Define acceptance criteria and ensure features meet high release standards.
  •  Partner with internal and external design teams to create intuitive and efficient user interfaces.
  •  Support engineering and data teams throughout the software development lifecycle,

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and analysis to uncover user needs and drive feature discovery.
  •  Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Sales to gather insights from the field.
  •  Lead Product Steering Committees (Steercos) and communicate updates to senior stakeholders.

  • Work with software engineers, data engineers, and operations to align delivery across technical functions.

This is a global-facing product management role that requires strong stakeholder engagement, structured delivery practices, and an analytical mindset. You will work closely with design, engineering, and business leaders to ensure the product delivers measurable impact. The position is based in Bangalore and may require occasional travel or flexible collaboration across time zones. Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Product management experience, ideally in a B2B or operational software environment.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong experience translating business needs into user stories and feature sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable leading meetings, facilitating workshops, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
  • Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or aviation industries is a plus.
