Description

The English Teacher engages students in English language, literature, and communication skills, helping them grow as thinkers, readers, and writers. This role includes creating lessons that meet standards, using technology and diverse strategies to reach all learners, assessing progress, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Teachers also collaborate with colleagues, communicate with families, and continue their own professional growth. 

Requirements

Job Requirements – English Teacher

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field.
• State teaching certification/licensure (as required).
• Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
• Effective classroom management and instructional skills.
• Ability to engage students with creative, inclusive lessons.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time. 
• Has excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication, adaptability, and professionalism.
• Familiarity with educational technology preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
