Join our fast-paced laboratory team!
Reliance Pathology Partners is seeking a detail-oriented Cytoprep Laboratory Assistant to support our cytology department. This position is responsible for receiving and preparing specimens, performing stains, and assisting with slide preparation for cytotechnologist review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and accession cytology specimens.
- Perform gross description and assign case numbers.
- Prepare, stain, and cover-slip slides.
- Assist with cell block preparation from fluids and FNAs.
- Maintain equipment logs, clean work areas, and follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the cytotechnologist to ensure stain quality.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior lab or cytology experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
- Ability to follow protocols and work with biological specimens.
- Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
