About the Role

abra is looking for a Data Scientist to join a Model Development Team.

The team leads the development of strategic, data-driven projects across multiple business units, leveraging advanced AI technologies and models in areas such as marketing, customer experience, pricing, and technology.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy models on AWS infrastructure
  • Extract insights from data using advanced analytical tools and AI technologies
  • Define algorithmic solutions to address business challenges
  • Analyze structured and unstructured data
  • Present findings and business insights to stakeholders
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of model outcomes




Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in model development, including definition, development, and deployment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in processing and analyzing large-scale tabular data
  • (Significant advantage for experience working in AWS environments and using PySpark)
  • Strong hands-on development experience in Python
  • Significant advantage for experience in developing Generative AI–based applications
  • Significant advantage for development experience and business understanding in the banking domain
  • Strong analytical and hands-on capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions
  • Advantage for experience working in a large organization and a strong system-wide perspective
  • Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science
