Our Group:
We are looking for a talented and versatile Algorithm Engineer to join our Advanced Sensor group. In this role, you will tackle diverse research questions in the world of computer vision and imaging, working on high-value projects with the potential to make a significant impact on our products and business processes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to drive projects from initial ideas to final products.
We are looking for someone who can take a theoretical problem, break it down into a research plan, and drive it to a working solution under the mentorship of senior team members.
What will you do?
- Lead & Mentor: Lead a small team of engineers, providing technical guidance, defining tasks and goals, and provide mentorship.
- Strategic Vision: Lead the research roadmap for AI-based quality assessment, defining how we evaluate and develop next-generation sensors.
- Data Strategy: Design comprehensive data strategies - from defining protocols for unique sensors to managing annotation pipelines and simulated data generation.
- Algorithm Design: Research and implement SOTA Deep Learning models that correlate with the subjective human preferences.
- Cross-Company Collaboration: Communicate complex technical concepts to counterparts in Israel and abroad to align on product requirements.
Requirements
- MSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics - Must.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow – Must
- Proven track record of leading projects and small team with multiple stakeholders; previous experience as a Tech Lead is highly preferred.
Advantages:
- Solid understanding of the Image Signal Processing (ISP) pipeline (Denoising, Demosaicing, HDR, etc.).
- Experience with Vision-Language Models and/or LLMs.
- Background in Perceptual / Subjective Image Quality metrics.
