We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant MA to join our team in the Dermatology department.
The Medical Assistant MA will:
- Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit
- Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs
- Assist during procedures
- Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations
- Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing
- Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications
- Participate in and support patient education
- Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions
- Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
- Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care

Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA position:
- Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program (must become certified within 6 month of hire) medical assistant experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
The successful Medical Assistant candidate will be subject to a background check.
