MCHC is seeking an experienced, caring, and adaptable Medical Assistant to serve as a Float MA across multiple MCHC clinic locations, including our upcoming Same-Day Clinic. What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice 
  • Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
  • Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
  • Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards
  • Provide patient education on diagnoses, follow-up care, and treatment plans as directed

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
