About the Role
ROLE SUMMARY:
A minimum of 8+ years of experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions. Experience in protocols such as BGP, OSPF and MPLS
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Experience with networks operations and architecture
- Experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions
- Extensive experience in protocols such as BGP, OSPF and MPLS
- Experience from working with at least one vendor of (Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, F5)
- Self-motivated and great under pressure.
- Big picture understanding of the networking concepts behind virtual environments and various hybrid cloud initiatives
- Experience from configuration management and change management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Work Model: Work from Office/Hybrid model.
Good to have:
● Problem solving skills and learning attitude.
● Managing skills and L3 Troubleshooting skills.
● Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical and presentation skills.
● Team player & Process oriented.
● Working experience from the financial industry
● Experience with working with data centres in US & UK
- Hands-on experience of Linux operating systems
- Experience of Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt, Python
- Experience cloud networking
