About the Role

Description

Software Defined Network Controller (SDNC) is part of Zhone Xtreme service automation and orchestration platform, which manages and controls access, transport, and mobile networks. SDNC is based on microservice architecture using cloud native technologies, such as containers and Kubernetes.


What You’ll Do

  • Define, Maintain, Enhance and perform work in adherence to the ISO/TL9000 Quality Management System.
  • Participate in all the phases of product development cycle - scoping, estimating, planning, implementation and test.
  • Deliver detailed functional specification and technical design documents for SDNC software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real time software developing and design, agile / scrum methodology, CI/CD and associated tools.
  • Must have Java, microservice, Kubernetes, REST/RESTCONF, NETCONF/YANG, Telecom experience.
  • Expert level at troubleshooting skill.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • English verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Spring Boot Framework; SDNC platforms: OpenDaylight, ONOS; Event streaming platforms: Kafka, NATS; Databases: MongoDB, Redis, InfluxDB
