If you’re a California-licensed Smog & Repair Technician who values integrity, precision, and a professional shop environment, you’ll like how we operate.

About Us

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell cars. We operate premium-brand dealerships across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii, and we’re known for pairing high standards with genuine care for our people. Audi Palo Alto serves a discerning guest base, and our service team plays a critical role in protecting safety, trust, and long-term relationships.

What You’ll Work On

  • Diagnose and repair check engine lights, emissions systems, and drivability concerns
  • Complete repairs accurately the first time, protecting guest trust and vehicle safety
  • Document inspections, findings, and repairs clearly and consistently
  • Collaborate with service advisors to ensure transparent communication and smooth handoffs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with Audi standards

How We Operate (Standards & Support)

  • Consistent workflow with steady RO volume

  • Strong diagnostic skills, especially related to emissions and engine performance
  • Prior dealership or professional automotive repair experience (Audi or European brand experience a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • A quality-first mindset, attention to detail, and integrity in your work

Compensation & Benefits

  • Aggressive flat-rate pay based on experience and licensing with progressive pay plans: As your tenure increases and you complete more certifications, we’ll pay you more!
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts
  • Clear career runway within Swickard’s multi-brand platform

  • Open Service Appointment Schedule – customers schedule service appointments with us when it’s convenient for THEM. This means we maintain a bustling shop with more work and greater income potential for the service team.
  • Paid manufacturer training – we’ll pay to help you gain new certifications and advance your career with some premier manufacturers.
  • We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity and inclusion at our company.

Most people have a stressful experience buying or servicing their car. It shouldn’t be that way. We’re looking for people as crazy as we are about revolutionizing the car-buying experience and it starts with hospitality. Hospitality isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are. We need exceptionally talented individuals to join our mission and embark on a challenging, rewarding career. Do you have what it takes?
