Position: IT Specialist

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Experience: 3+ years in IT

Skills Required:

FortiGate: Proficiency in configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls.

Arista: Familiarity with Arista network switches and routing protocols.

VMware: Experience in virtualization using VMware technologies.

MS Server and Windows Operating systems.

MS Active Directory, DNS, IIS.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.

Manage and optimize virtualization environments using VMware.

Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth operations and security.

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues.

Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades.

Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.

Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field a plus.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP, Arista ACE) are a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Demonstrated skills in a fast-paced IT environment.
