About the Role

We are looking for a Primary School English Teacher for a bilingual school in Hangzhou. This is position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in February 2026

About the school

Located in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, this coeducational day school serves mainly local families and offers a bilingual learning environment with instruction in both English and Chinese. It is an IB World School authorized for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), with an inquiry-based approach that supports strong academic foundations, character development, and student wellbeing. The campus is positioned near the Xixi Wetland area, providing a calm setting while still being well connected to the city.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach the subject of English (ESL) to primary school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Valid teaching qualification TEFL, TESL or higher
  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred

  • Monthly salary of up to 22,000 RMB
