Job Description

Job Summary:

The Lab Operator is responsible for performing technical and operational tasks including preparing samples, bench setup, conducting tests, recording data, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment also ensuring all procedures are followed according to established protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Test Bench Operation and Maintenance:

    • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure equipment is clean and in proper working order.
    • Document equipment maintenance and calibration records.

Testing and Analysis:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests and analyses.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
  • Accurately record and document test results.
  • Analyze test results, and report abnormalities.

Data & inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory activities.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Order supplies as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
  • Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years exp in relevant field.

Others :

  • Basic understanding on filtration product design & application.
  • Basic understanding on various filtration test standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with Project managers and customers.
