About the Role

Description

As the HR Manager you will influence company culture and employee performance. You always put the needs of the business first by promoting people-related processes, and the company vision and strategy across the company. As the HR manager, your job will include performing administrative tasks with an understanding of the law and making decisions that will affect internal client success.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with other managers in the business, sometimes internationally, to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective.
  • Partnering with senior operational staff to establish and roll-out people-related strategy.
  • Providing detailed HR reports to senior management teams.
  • Administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new hire onboarding, managing a comprehensive employee lifecycle.
  • Managing talent pools and succession plans to ensure the company can continue to operate in the future.
  • Overseeing training and development of employees.
  • Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way.
  • Regularly perform 1 to 1 sessions with employees concerning HR-related feedback.
  • Successfully resolve conflicts or escalate to the executive team.
  • Benefits administration.
  • Supervision of 1 senior recruiter and 1 admin.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of how a business works and an HR function operates.

Education and Experience:

  • Solid understanding of HR related software including HRIS (Preferably Paylocity)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.5+ years in progressively responsible HR roles.
  • 3+ years experience in Labor-Relations and/or Employee-Relations.
  • 3+ years in supervisory roles.
  • Ability to effectively work with cross-functional internal teams.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Possess strong emotional intelligence.
  • Requires technical competence and an aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Must be extremely responsible, have an open and engaging personality, and a quick mind.


 

For applicants located in California, the salary range for this full-time role is expected to be $115,000-$125,000 per year. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Rently reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications, and that the expected salary range may be different for candidates located outside of California.
