Position Summary 

We are seeking a Creative Content Specialist with a strong eye for design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. The role centers on printed graphic design and visual communication, with some support for social media and communications. You’ll work with existing InDesign templates to streamline content creation and contribute to both print and digital projects. You will lead a variety of internal and external marketing initiatives, provide key input on marketing content, and communicate and simplify highly technical concepts. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and produce printed graphic materials (brochures, flyers, reports, etc.) 
  • Create motion graphics and animations for various platforms 
  • Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) team to increase market penetration efficacy  
  • Work with our engineering staff to explore brand awareness through technical connections (university collaborations, sponsorships, conferences, etc.) 
  • Use project information and testimonials to showcase our service lines 
  • Create and renew website content and design using WordPress 
  • Develop social media ads and YouTube videos as needed 
  • Support social media and newsletter content creation using InDesign templates 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency across all materials 
  • Assist with event graphics and visual assets for presentations 
  • Support BD team with marketing material for Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), and Request for Information (RFIs), as needed 
  • Perform other duties, as requested 

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in graphic design within the AEC industry (no management experience required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication (preferred), or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign)
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Suite, WordPress, Hootsuite, Constant Contact (or other email distribution apps), and social media platforms
  • Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently with templates and established brand guidelines
  • Experience in motion graphics/animation is a plus
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written)

Additional Notes 

  • The role is not focused on social media management, but you will help with social media and newsletter content.  
  • Social media presence is not a primary measure of success. 
  • We value creative writing and engaging visual storytelling. 
  • Inspiration can be drawn from effective Instagram post copy and industry job postings (e.g., Graphic Designer Tango).
