About the Role

Description

GENERAL PURPOSE: General warehouse labor job responds to instructions provided on bills of material and shipping documents. Licensed to operate a powered forklift truck to move, stack, and load or unload materials in and about the plant, warehouse, staging area, etc. Utilizing banding and shrink wrap machines. May use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product as it is moved.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility.
  • Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handing equipment to move material to and from trucks within the storage facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to follow demonstrated steps.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good communications skills, team oriented, self-motivated, attention to detail.
